That is all you need to know. Some of you see my feed scrolling on the side bar. I know this is slightly off topic, but I felt the need to bring it up. It’s about time that you either joined up or just follow along with me. A lot of my tweets are gateways to future posts and can sometimes be viewed as gateways into topics that I talk about here. It’s also a great place for bonus material on my day/life. Often times I do get a chance to write about everything that happens or it’s just not big enough to, so twitter is short and sweet enough to get my point across. It is filled with pictures, videos and texts of all the great things that are tom shaggy.

Suddenly images aren’t working on the blog and it’s pissing me off. I have writing ADD and tend to write different paragraphs and add images at different times. My gift and curse. Before I throw my computer across the room I am going to end this writing and let you all carry on with your day. I do have a small little shorty short story to share with everyone tomorrow/this morning. When I wake up I will head down to the coffee shop and write it up for everyone.

side note: #quoteoftheday 80 year old woman “guess i’ll read arthritis today (magazine). i mean it’s the only good one here.”

I would absolutely, positively choose to sleep like this. I wouldn’t want to do it as a mature adult, but rather every time I fell asleep at night I would turn into a little toddler that dangled from what looked like a divine scrotal sack with my head poking out. Plenty of head support and keeps me nice and tight so I won’t fall out, but still soft enough to allow maximum comfort.

Woman would then believe that I was just the cutest thing they have ever seen. This may cut down on the sexual activity, but one can handle that because sleep is extremely important and I just don’t have time for too much “extracurricular” activities. This would also be a good device to defuse a situation. I could clothes my eyes and pretend to be asleep during a horrific fight and poof, scrotum baby lives and all is better. I would have to be just a prop though, no one could take me out of my sack. I would only appear as the realest fake child known to man because I wouldn’t want to be stolen by any families searching for the perfect child.

If this were twitter and I could signify this as an emoticon it would be this <=(:|).

side note: i tend to carry on sometimes. #kbye

Since the clock struck midnight on January 1, 2010 11,491,200 seconds have elapsed. That really has no significance to this post, but it does seem like a crazy number and not one we think about very often when we think about time elapsing. No one celebrates their birthday in seconds. But if I were to have celebrated my “seconds” birthday at midnight last night I would have been 786,931,200 seconds old.

#ihaveatendancy (twitter): Like another other trend this filled with some saying all they shit that isn’t true about themselves with most possible grammatical mistakes crammed into 140 characters. Or they talk about something that is nearly worth believing, but too ridiculous to actually care.

Comis Book Disney Princess (buzzfeed): I couldn’t help myself, because as perverse and unnecessary as they are, they artwork is impeccable and pretty much spot on. This isn’t to say that I enjoy cartoon porn or anything….HERE

More of a list than anything. Only a couple points I would like to make.

- Expect the unexpected. When you least expect for life to unfold as it does, it will. You won’t know it until it has already happened, but take notice and you will be all the better.

- The bad that has been is no match for the good to come. No matter the pain you have suffered at the hand of someone else, the good to come 10 fold to those who are patient. Life does not respond immediately upon your every request, but in time, and will hard work, will yield all the happiness one needs.

- Do what you love and love what you do. Way over used, but I 100% agree with this. Whether you love making thousands of dollars or just wish to volunteer your time every day and work 3 jobs the rest of your life to just get by, I think it makes no difference. As long as you are happy in what you are doing, short of killing people, knock yourself out.

Quote of the Day: James Creighton via twitter.

Trash Talk is blowing my dick off right now

Trends:

#Dearsomeone (twitter): This hashtag is for all the assholes out there who don’t have the balls to just talk to someone about their issues. Anonymity seems to be the name of the game here on the web. Gives people a chance to give people lessons on God or Love or any other bullshit they want.

#letsbeclear (twitter): just another hashtag for people to show how truly trashy and uneducated they are. Dissing peoples looks and past because they are insecure with their own. example of the idiocy: @JusticeLeagRed #LetsBeClear the fact dat u lied and aid u don’t suck dick won’t make me respect u it’ll only make me call u stupid once u do it next week

side note: just watched CKY2K for first time in about 7 years. i miss the good ol’ days.

Sometimes a day off can be spent doing things that perhaps that you should have thought through one more time. Well in my life I can’t say that things have always been thought through as carefully as I would have liked, but that was half the fun. I spent a good chunk of the day checking, #pleasetellmewhy, and boy did I have fun. You can check out some of my responses to them on my feed, www.twitter.com/shagnast2100. The main problem I have is with the serious complete disregard for the english language. It’s painful to see some of the sentence structure in some of these tweets. This is not to say that my English is impeccable and have no room for improvement, but for the most part, my grammer can be read with ease and without the occasional, W-T-F. For example:

90_RELL #pleasetellmewhy dese lil lenox niggas fake tried to run down on us lol

Not even sure where to begin with that one.

My tuesday was spent entertaining the many people of West Hartford and surrounding areas with some yummy food. Yes, I’ll spare you the details. But on the lighter side, I was able to reconnect with some high school friends that I literally sat and talked with since the last time I saw them in high school 6 or 7 years ago. I was about 10 minutes from not even seeing them because I had planned on leaving and cutting myself early, but I wanted to help out a bit more around the restaurant, so by chance I saw two people at the host stand studying a menu and went up to them and much to my surprise it was, to me, the newly wed couple from high school. It’s amazing to me how everything works out sometimes and where people end up and how they reconnect.

I have started watching movies I haven’t seen in a while again, awesome nostalgia. My father collected comic books, I collect DVDs. I hope to pass this collection on to my own son.

Whats trending?:

Vagina Cupcakes (buzzfeed): Now, I’m a man who appreciates a nice one, but there is nothing less appetizing than looking at an array of vagina that is edible, no matter how much you love said reproductive organ. But don’t take my word for it, see for youself.

Greatest Picture Ever? (buzzfeed): Now, of course it’s photoshop, and I have no clue what the fuck they were thinking, but it very well could be because there is nothing funny than an obese Asian, call me a liar.

Lebron (twitter): I think we can all admit that this guy is a freak of nature in all aspects of the word. From his athetic ability to his physical appearance in general. The guy literally breaks every law of gravity each time he enters the air/atmosphere to dunk and/or block a shot. There should be a rule against Lebron James’ blocks. The guy will literally camp out and wait for a lay-up, charge in and slap it off the court.

side note: is the king’s son in Braveheart gay? i noticed the strange that him and his adviser exchange. stupid question, but could use the answer.

Sunday, it’s never a very exciting day to want to do anything. Even though I don’t believe in the guy, Jesus got a day off, why can’t I, you know what I mean? Today was just one of those days. It rained off and on creating a very unmotivating feeling in the air. Not all hope was lost though because I was able to eat my face off an Indian Buffet. Then, after a few episodes of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” it was time for work. Sad Face. I want everyone to spend a few minutes a day and think about something that has already happened and you did not attend and then use your imagination, however fucked up it may be, to think of all the things that could have happened. Then, and only then, will you truly understand where I get all my inspiration.

Work is work. You fill in the blanks.

How about some trending topics? – What is surging on twitter right now?

#DearSummer (twitter): Dear Summer, bring some trending topics that people give a shit about. That is all.

#badhabit (twitter): Let the world know about your bad habits, from the gimp you keep in your basement to the habitual nail biting, nothing is taboo here. I’m thinking I could truly benefit from this hash tag and plan on taking full advantage of it.

#pleasetellmewhy (twitter): Now this one I know I could have a lot of fun with. I might spend a lot of the day answering people questions and being a total prick. I mean, hey, they asked for it. Looking for advice on twitter #pleasetellmewhy you feel the need to seek answers on such a platform, rhetorical or not.

sidenote: to balding guy with dreds. Please just chop off all your hair, you aren’t kidding anyone with that hair-do. Yes I’m sure it took a lot of patience to go it out that long, and just as much to deal with the agony of being made fun of every few minutes by your friends and foes.

These two days have been the beginning of a rebuilding period in my life. For once in my life I need to think of what needs to be done and do it, rather than sitting on my heals and waiting for it to happen. Too many people lose focus, no goals are met, and in the end there is no resolve, only more questions.

That lonely feeling creeps in, the kind you just can’t shake. No matter how many people you surround yourself with, it’s like a cloak you wear with you on a 90 degree day. The busier you stay the more focused you become, but the down time because your worst enemy as you dwell on everything that makes you lonely. A vicious circle of negative emotions that doesn’t seem to have an end. On the other hand, one person’s misfortune because the next person’s dream come true. For every heartache there is love filling someone elses life. You can’t explain it, it’s just the way it is. I love hearing about all the romance that springs up around me. Whether it be for those who have never truly experienced it, or those who are rediscovering it.

I started taking an interesting in trending topics on twitter, buzzfeed, and just the web in general. Some of them are pretty funny, and I promise to start taking blogging to the next level regarding of them.

Trend 1 (twitter): Belieber: One who is a believer in Justin Beiber. Can someone tell me what is special about this kid? Did he save an entire country from starvation or donate all his allowance money to charity to help the Haitian earthquake survivors? I need to know, otherwise I will never be a Belieber.

Trend 2 (twitter): #IndonesiaWants30STM <—- which is a hash tag for how Indonesia wants 30 Seconds to Mars to have a tour in their country. Indonesia really? I can’t imagine that they 30STM is jumping for this trend to go viral. Well can’t be too bad I guess, with all the island hoping on Jared Leto’s ego and entertaining the densest population of Muslims in Southeast Asia. #fail.

Trend 3 (buzzfeed): John Gosselin’s Faux Hawk: Not only does he have the award for most irresponsible father in America, but to add insult to injury this cat just can’t give up the fight that he’s going bald. To illustrate my point, above is the link to his newest style balding faux hawk. Just give it up and shave your head man. Yes you will still look like a douche bag, but hey, if the shoe fits…wear it.

I understand the past couple days have been a little boring, but I have been working on a few side projects here and there that I will be posting soon so I can entertain a few more of you.

side note: i’m hoping that tom shaggy will be a trending topic soon so i can make fun of how ridiculous i am, making fun of people on my BLOG. #whoami?

It was a Monday. After waking from yet another epic dream in which some of the most horrifying man-made disasters occur and only a few are left surviving, I packed my things for the day.

The real world shifts back into gear as people return to week after two weeks of holidays and the children return to school. My day consisted mostly of catching up on administrative work that I still had lying around. To me there is nothing more refreshing than, starting a tasks doing all the steps in between and being able to scratch it off a list. Progress is a beautiful thing, especially in the restaurant business.

I spent some time thinking about the term “flava,” pronounced “flay-vuh,” and how you use it to describe something. One of my employees used it to describe “this girl.” I still have no idea what it means or how it is used. Perhaps someone an help me.

My day became progressively better as it approached 6pm. The night manager entered, I gave him the rundown of the day, high-fived him, and exited stage right. My travels then took me to a small town in the northwest hills of Connecticut where I finished my night on the slopes of mountain. It had been over a year since the last time I had graced the face of any mountain with my snowboard. Of course, the night wouldn’t be all perfect. As I ascended the mountain for the first time I looked down at my board and noticed it looked a little strange. Well, that was because I right regular and it was set up for a goofy rider. My brother is goofy. Needless to say, that is the last time I lend him my snowboard.

Any who, the two and a half hours I spent carving through the snow, at near light speeds I might add, was more than what I needed. The only thing left…sustenance. For those of you following along on twitter, you already know. Fourth Meal is important to me, especially when it involves two cheesy gordita crunch and one baja steak chalupa. I couldnt’ tell you what was in the cheesy gordita crunch, all I can tell you is that the flavor and textures of that thing make it one of the most magical foods to ever make into my mouth. Between that soft warp and crunchy taco with cheese used like glue and all the crap inside topped with that secret sauce….rapture.

All and all. Hell of a day, couldn’t ask for a better forth day.

side note: sleep tonight will be the best its been in a long time. never underestimate the power of a good nights sleep.

Sometimes I wonder about the youth of America today. I just sat and listened to one of the most ridiculous conversations. A girl verbally assaulting someone she knew on the telephone. It was in reference to money that she didn’t have, or rather, money she should of had, but because someone didn’t act quickly enough, by her standards, the money was not there.

Hmmmm. I wonder what is really going through he head. Is it really an issue that she doesn’t have the money now or is she that spoiled she needs to make a scene and also make it known to everyone else how important she is, or rather, how important she believes herself to be. I just can’t stand people like that. A little humility goes a long way my friend. Now I don’t claim to know it all, but damn girl, there is always tomorrow.

While I’m on the topic of strange things happening today. I must tell all about the female I saw working out. First off she was not even dressed to work out. It appeared to me, from my vantage point, that she had just gotten out of class and hopped onto the treadmill. That was odd enough at first, but then after about 15 minutes she began through punches. Yup, phantom punches, like is that really necessary? I wouldn’t do that in the privacy of my own home for the sake of feeling extremely stupid, but to be in a weight room on a college campus….forget about it. Now being the creep that I am I shot a quick video of it and posted it on twitter for all to see. Don’t judge, you know you were all dying to see it anyways.

check out the video on my twitter – @shagnast2100.
