So I have just installed wordpress on my phone and was laying here, computerless, and listening to the tap on the roof when I got to thinking, why not break in my thumbs.

It definitely sucks not having a computer that is for sure. But without the distraction of it I have been able to take in this evening. Looking at the rain outside was probably the most captivating part of the night. There is a street like behind a tree just outside my window. I could see the water flowing down and around the trunk as well as cascade through the leaves and into the ground. The street glowed orange and the world was silent all around. The night was narrated by the rain that hit the roof and rolled down the old shingles into the decrepit gutters. The wind howled by now and again adding to the spookiness.

Then I needed to get something. A friend had returned something to me. The trip down from the third floor seemed like a lifetime. The dark winding staircase was impossible to navigate without fear. my eyes hadn’t adjusted to the darkness yet so each creek of the step brought a new horror to mind as if I was face to face with the devil. The dog barks violetly at the noises he knows not. The blood curdling growl I fear most.

I will curl up and forget what is happening. There are steps outside the door. They no longer matter. They are no longer real. Tonight I dream.

20. That’s such a nice number to say and look at. This guy has met me at least three times and still didn’t know who I was…is my face that forgettable. Do I not make an impression?

Today I would like to spend a little time discussing the art of filtering dialogue. Lord know, I am not always the best, perhaps this website is a tribute to that, but there is a time and place for everything. You ever been a conversation with three or four people and the dialogue is flowing well through all the parties. Suddenly, there is a quick break in conversation and one of the parties just blurts out something that is slightly off topic and hyper-inappropriate. It seems to happen on a regular basis in my life. Sometimes, I am the perpetrator, but I am using it as a method of lightening the mood and easing tension. For some it is quite apparent that its a cry for help. It takes everyone by surprise usually, everyone kind of looks around at each other because they know what they heard, but they just can’t believe it.

1 word: Manswers. Who hasn’t seen this show? Every guys dream right. The show has no real point, and I can’t imagine a lot of guys really care about half the stuff the put on their, but it is fun game night trivia. How many boobs does it take to screw in a light bulb? You know that’ll be final jeopardy next week. The answer is two by the way, but they need to be D’s in order to have enough surface contact to create the correct amount of torque. I’m an asshole, I know.

4 words: 1000 Way to Die. This is another show on Spike TV that show idiotic ways that people have died. The names are changed to protect the deceased and/or their families. From bungee jumping from a cherry picker to car surfing to getting kicked in the forehead by a cow and suffocating in a wall bed. They show graphic animations of the anatomical effects that these falls and collisions have on the human body. Freaking great.

Work, Meetings, 2 TV shows and two cups of coffee. Not such a bad day.

side note: think of your place of work. think of last man standing. think of the possibilities.

That walk that most of us know from back in our college days. Waking up after drinking our faces off, rolling over 9/10 times waking up to something that we remember being much more attractive the night before and having to walk the four miles back to your dorm room.

The Walk of Shame has been re-branded by young director, Dan Dobi, as a new comedy series that he has created, directed and produced along with Steve Rogowskey. The pilot, featured below, begins with Andy meeting the 35 year-old incoming freshman Brody. The rest of the episode tells the back story of how Brody got where he is today. Filled with many jokes that will keep you laughing from start to finish and wanting more by the end.

I went to a Trade School in Florida, so there were a lot of people a little older than your typical college demographic attending the classes and whatnot. One women in particular who was well in her 40′s would constantly bring up ridiculous stories about her pet “Wolf” that had zero to do ANYTHING. Every time she opened her mouth, I just thought to myself “Wow, what a train wreck it would have to be to have to live with her.” Years later, I teamed up with my long time best friend/writing partner and created The Walk Of Shame.

Dan and Steve have created a genuine comedy for the ages with amazing potential. I have already contributed about 10 views to it myself and hope that all of you will take some time to view it as well.
