A few of us would always wait outside work before and chat.  I would usually sit with a book and read for a hour.  I remember watching her walk down the sidewalk and saying hello to her.  It wasn’t anything special, but I remember seeing her face light up a little bit.  I don’t think she thought much of me to start with, like I said, I can be very stand offish at first.  Finally one day she was standing next time while I was ringing food in for a customer when she said, “wow you smell really good.”  She proceeded to bury her face in my chest and smell me throughout the day.  Perhaps that is creepy, but I dug it.

Through our many ups and downs, I am proud to say she is mine.  I don’t know how I did it or if I even deserve someone as beautiful and smart and loving as her.  All I know is I wake up happy every day.  I mentioned earlier that she is one of the most influential people in my life.  Normally, I think, we hear that someone like John Lennon or MLK Jr. as influences.  I picked her because shown me so much about my own life and how to get it back on track.  My seizures have caused me much pain and suffering in the past and have drastically altered how I live my life.  Now it is time to move forward from all that and begin a successful bright future today.
