The Love Gypsy
What seems to be an endless pathway has an undiscovered resemblance. Light tan dirt consisting of the widest array of beautifully toned pebbles. Each synonymous in their own way, but the big picture is an odd shade of gray. My feet prints have yet to be laid but sure enough with the wind being blocked by these paralleling trees, they are sure to stay. I won’t have to use my pointer; you’ll know I was here. With every other step it’s my heartbeat you’ll be sure to hear. Keep an ear close to the ground and my steps will not become a distant sound. One eye to the sky and you’ll see that I’m all around you…You have yet to find me, it won’t be easy because all you have is the present. Rain or shine, follow my signs, I assure you this path will lead you to me. Do you see where I’ve been? Look deeper, closer. There’s a fork in the road and you must choose. Do you know if I went right or left… or do you stand in the middle confused? Close your eyes and let your instincts kick in…If it’s meant to be, you’ll know which way to turn…not too much further, dare I say, I’m here waiting for you, until then my wandering has adjourned. Others have passed and more to follow, but my feet are planted until you come. My back will be to you, my eyes will be shut, but when you grab my hand, I’ll know you’re the one………………….
